It’s December! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Remember the song? It’s Christmas and presents and happiness and love and friends. What more can you ask for?
I have mixed feelings about the month, but I am ready to share some thoughts about the future. As I mentioned on a post on my Facebook page, you can check it here, I am working at the scopes for 2017. Wonderful thing I have going on and it is a lot of work behind the scenes. But I love it and that is mainly why I do it.
December starts off with a change of thinking pattern as Mercury enters Capricorn. This will make us more detached, smart, calculate risks, say things with more care and think, think, think. Mercury is not fond of Capricorn as he likes to play and dance and be free and happy. He is the communication GOD and he usually loves to say what he thinks. Keep in mind that we are going to focus more and more and we are preparing for slowing down as Mercury will go retrograde from December 19 until January 8. Try to be as careful as possible when buying things and keep receipt, information about what you buy and how you spend your money. It is wise to purchase everything before the retrograde period, so prepare for Christmas gifts in advance.
Another shift in the air is Venus changing signs into Aquarius and that is free spirit love, free sex, open relationships, new adventures. Venus is one of the most important planets in astrology, she is karmic, opens up the sky and creates a way of light into your best life, your best self. When in Aquarius, she is crazy, restless and gives us the power to love freely, without boundaries. She is giving all of us the power to BE DIFFERENT! And express all that power through love and sex. It is a very good time to spend money on your crazy looks as they will just fit you and your new style. It is also a good thing to throw all your old clothes off the window and try a new look that needs to be wild, sexy, new.
We have a Full Moon in Gemini on Dec 13. It is a very strong vibe of communication, getting the message across and building this up from that. We are rather waiting for this word to go out. It is a political, business or love message that we need to hear at this end of the year. And we have been waiting a long long time for it.
Mercury is going to go retrograde after the 19th of December and that will really slow things for everybody. It is a very good time to relax, think and go over plans you already have. Don’t start something new, do not buy something expensive, don’t sign any kind of papers. Just lay on your back and enjoy a peaceful ride into the next year.
On the 24th of December we have a very interesting and intriguing aspect: Uranus in Aries makes this crazy trine with Saturn in Sagittarius. This positive energy is once in a lifetime and it will not come back in our life time. This is the day that creates the premises for all year 2017! This is the first aspect of 3 that will happen next year. It is Game of Thrones, a Song of Ice and Fire! Uranus is surprise and crazy on the spot ideas and Saturn is methodical, long term planing. Imagine what can happen when these 2 meet! Saturn grounds all that he touches, including the changes you make brought on by Uranus. This aspects mentions only one thing above all: Change is coming, it is going to be fast, will take you by surprise even if you plan hard and the outcome will be better than you expect.
The New Moon in Capricorn on Dec 29 will focus on ambition, need of order, self discipline and correct assumptions. We will be much aware that we have what we need to go to the next level.
