This post is dedicated to all of you out there with the Sun Sign in Taurus and with Taurus Rising! I have a lot of friends in Taurus and I appreciate this Sun Sign very much. It has a lot to offer and they make great friends! They have this incredible ability to create such a balanced, great life for themselves and they do it with grace and determination.Key word here for Taurus: determination. Keep that in mind next time you meet a Taurus, this will help you. Oh, and they can keep a promise as they are loyal to their trusted friends. As I am quite chaotic, having all these planets in crazy Aquarius, I am very happy to share my life with people with strong Taurus in their Natal Chart. I am going to shed some astrological light on the upcoming months of 2016 and beyond for you, Taurus lovers and friends. 2016 was an interesting year, but it didn’t have much excitement or action as we had Mars, the planet of action retrograded a big period of time. But this is may be true for other signs, as for you it was a fun time, filled with friends and laughter and funny moments. The energy was light and it shined on good times and favorable sights. No hard or cruel energy and no tension being applied. You liked it.
But the last 4 months of the year 2016 are the most intense and challenging and this is true for you too Taurus even if the energy is not touching you as it does all the other signs. The last part of 2016 is intense because we need to think about changing some things in our lives and challenging because we have some inner tension all around us. As mentioned this goes out to all other signs and as you come in contact with them you will feel this strange energy. You are a sign that takes really good care of yourself and that means that you will try to stay away of this tension and intensity. This is also the astrological advice. All this tension comes as the year is ending with the eclipse season. The eclipse season was in September and there were 2 powerful eclipses in the sky. Eclipses bring news and surprise, and almost always require adjustment. These eclipses had 2 negative aspects associated with them: an opposition with Neptune and a square to Saturn. Neptune can bring confusion and dissolves things that are in place and Saturn is craving for structure. With these aspects, our objectives will be difficult to achieve and we will all work twice as hard for our goals until the end of the year 2016.
The first Solar Eclipse was in Virgo, on the 1st of September 2016, and this one had a focus your fun part and your romantic side. Is this something that is missing in your life? What do you need to change to be more creative and more fun and enjoy life? The second eclipse was in Pisces and it was a Lunar Eclipse, on the 16th of September 2016, and it ended a social thing you had going. It seems that you need to let go of some group of friends that you wanted to be with. They now have different goals and it is not good for you to be together and it is quite hard for you to let go. This is going to be a big theme at the start of 2017, too and it can also relate to some dreams that you have that you are not longer pursuing.
What Taurus should do to use this energy in a positive way:
1. Welcome some romance in your life!
As the Solar Eclipse was in Virgo and for a year now you had Jupiter in Virgo also, the focus was only finding your true love, spend time outside with friends, having fun, feeling creative, going hiking, going to the beach. With the Jupiter in Virgo energy last year, you probably had a good relaxing year with no pressure and I say it in a good way! Jupiter expands everything in touches and in 2016, Jupiter touched the fun part, the romantic part in YOU. Just to give you an idea, the transit happened from August 11, 2015 until September 9, 2016. This transit ended with this powerful Solar Eclipse in Virgo and that means that now you have to change perspective. You need to change the way you look at your lover and welcome romance in your life. You need to think more serious about your relationship and you need to show the world that the relationship is serious.
2.Choose a fun activity and go for it!
This is a really good time to change something: the way you have fun and the time and money you invest in this. As the Solar Eclipse is about this part of your life, you must be ready to accept this new challenge.
If you are single, you may meet someone at a fun activity and you need to enjoy this as much as you can. It will probably not be the love of your life, but it is a great friend, a good buddy and one that you enjoy spending time with you. Take this seriously as New Moon and Solar Eclipse brings a lot of power and a lot can happen until the end of this year. The astrological advice is: have fun!
3.Let go of a group of friends!
With the energy created by the Pisces Lunar Eclipse, healing is the contrast word. This energy brings endings of some sort and you are forced to let go to some people you loved to spend time with. The energy is not on your true friends, rather than people you meet at work or at a club or at a gathering of some sort. Pisces is just helping you do some cleaning in this department and you need to follow him. This will be an energy that you will feel at the start of 2017, so embrace it.

Mercury will be retrograde a lot until the end of the year: we have him retrograde as I write this post, from the 30th of August 2016 until the 22nd of September 2016 and from the 19th of December until the 8th of January. We will begin the new year with Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn and that will create some confusion and loss of focus.
