The year 2017 is a year of compatibility between planets and hopefully between people. The energy is going to be very different from the one in 2016 as the aspects are positive and bring opportunities through changes. The year 2016 was market by Jupiter in Virgo and Saturn in Sagittarius and that was not a good configuration. Some chaos was there and a lot of shifts between a lot of information or just bits of it that lead to confusion and misunderstanding. Some people thrive in such an environment, see Donald Trump winning the US Presidential Elections. The derangement was so big that we didn’t understand what hit the planet. Under the above astrological configurations, foolish mistakes can be made and people can be elected and assume roles that are not fit for them. The new energy is here to settle things and to arrange things.
Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.
A year full of changes
The Fire element is at its best in 2017 and will highlight creativity, business, children and love. The way we express, our power to start something new, the way we need and want to reveal our true personality. It will be a year when free time is needed and asked for. I think we really need more time for what we love, what we value and less time invested in responsibilities of work and money. People will ask for independence and time to think about new things, inventions or only reading and enjoying the world outside and inside. The Fire element creates this pace and gives us the space and the electric bump we need to dream and imagine grand things. 2017 will be full of changes and these will be driven by the Uranus in Aries and Jupiter in Libra opposition. This aspect will ask us to let go of some things and to rejoice of the new. We will ditch everything that is no longer needed in our lives and we will start new and fresh. The new vision will be different and the changes will be light, easy, with no disruption and will just make us feel more alive than ever. Most of us will choose a different life, very different from what we have in the present days. Freedom and the search for a new way of doing the same things will be marked by this Opposition. Put a star in your calendar on March 2 and September 28 because at this time the opposition will be exact.
A year of relationships
2017 will also be a year of relationships, a very good year for meeting somebody new and for marriage. Any connection made under this influence and I will talk more about this in my individual scopes, will be lasting and extremely powerful. I don’t mean to scare you, but the aspect also proves very cruel for any relations that are not soul connections and some couples can end their love affair. This may especially be the case in March 2017 and April 2017 when Venus and Mercury will retrograde in Aries, a Fire Sign. The karmic lesson is that we need to listen more than we speak and use as much emotional intelligence as we can.
As Jupiter is in Libra until October 2017 and after that going into Scorpio, the focus is going to be on true partnership, compatibility, seeing eye to eye. Also the North Node is going to go in Leo and the South Node in Aquarius and this will be in perfect harmony with Jupiter in Libra. February or August will be ideal months for tying the knot or for meeting somebody very special.
2017, year of the Rooster
The year of Rooster starts on the 28th of Jan 2017, with the the New Moon in Aquarius. The element is Fire. Hardworking, trustworthy, with a strong sense of time keeping, the Rooster Year plans to be just right for us. Stick to practical ways, well-proven paths to ensure success. The ancients say that the Rooster Year is a blend of justice and righteousness. It is a good year to start a new relationship or change the status quo of an existing one. It is interesting to mention that Red (the color of the element Fire) is the traditional color of the wedding dress in China and other Asian countries. That being said, the Rooster year is auspicious for weddings.
The year of the Rooster also favors small businesses endeavors and is happy to see a lot of handwork and keeping in mind a good trade idea. Perseverance is rewarded this year in the business environment.
