Aquarius, Welcome to your astrology forecast for the year 2017!
The year 2017 is going to be a year of preparation on the career front and a year of magic, soul meeting and finding true happiness in your relationship. You need to find time to learn, study, read and time to take care of the relationship you have. It is going to be your choice about how you deal with priorities, but from what I can tell there is going to be quite a challenge to keep things in balance.
Start of the year 2017
The year starts with Mercury being retrograde and that means things start slowly and some of what we do at the time of the new year must be redone later. After that, we have giant window opening from the 8th of Jan 2017 till the 6th of Feb when all planets are direct! This is interesting because it is a good time to think about new year’s resolutions, put them on paper, draft a plan, connect to any stakeholders that can help with the implementation and start acting on the plan as soon as you can. Anything you do during this one month will impact the year ahead as this is the time to plant the seed. Jupiter will start the retrograde cycle for the year 2017 on the 6th of February and that will make us slow down on our preparation learning and teaching. It is not a good time to schedule exams or start to learn a new skill. It is good to finish up what you started. The slowing down of Jupiter will go on for the next 4 months, from Feb until June.
The Big Picture
In December 2016, we had some days that predicted the year 2017, the 24th of December 2016 and the 26th of December 2016. Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries are marking a very positive point in the sky that has influence all year long. The energy is inspiring and filled with opportunities. For Aquarius, this trine marks new business ideas, business expansion, practical step by step ways for achieving success. It can also help you reinvent your life and try to live in a very different way. It is a very good time to create a plan that will help you achieve your goals and your life ambitions. Uranus will help you innovate and Saturn will help you put in practice everything that you want. This is a magical combination and the positive flow is already there. You just have to find your way. The first trine happened in December 2016 and the next time these 2 planets meet in 2017: May 19 and Nov 11. As I said, the good connection in the sky is all year, but in May and November things get more intense and we should watch for clues. The changes that are coming this year are going to be light and they are not going to disrupt anything.
Self and Soulmates
Eclipses this year are very powerful and they make an impact especially on the Aquarius Sun Sign. They mark changes, endings or beginnings with powerful disrupt of the status – quo. The first eclipse is on the 7th of August 2016 and it falls in Aquarius. This is a Lunar Eclipse and marks the starting point of a new series of eclipses that will mark the year 2017 and the year 2018. This is about new beginnings, about creating a new self and having to deal with another type of challenges. Things are just preparing because the real change within yourself will come in 2018.
But for Aquarius the highlight of the year is not on self, it is on relationships. At the time of the New Solar Eclipse in Leo on the 21st of August 2017, you will either start a new relationship or change the status of an existing one. Chances are you are going to meet someone new or you are going to get married. The power of your soul mate or the realization that you are already near your soul mate and you did not realize this until now is beyond comprehension. If you plan to tie the knot at this time, the union will be extremely powerful and will grow as time passes. You will soon realize that you cannot live without each other and that you are destined to be with each other. Aquarius is not the intense type, but this is the time when things get passionate. You will be born again with this relation, you will see! It’s very rare, but you can also end a relationship with this astrological aspect in the sky. Stubborn Vibes of the Year 2017
Venus, the karmic, crazy, lucky planet will be retrograde in March and April 2017 and that puts all of us in some uncomfortable situations. For Aquarius, the emphasis is on communication and about clarity of the message sent and the message received. Venus will also join Mercury who will also retrograde and that means double trouble in April 2017 and May 2017. It is not a good time to tell the truth out load, to say everything you think and it is very wise to use a gentle voice for everything you have to say. It is very important to think before you speak in any situation or just don’t say anything.
Good Vibes of the Year 2017
Jupiter changed signs in 2016, on the 9th of September from Virgo to Libra bringing a lot of positive energy to your Sun Sign and to all of your planets in Aquarius. Libra is in harmonious energy with Aquarius and that means things will shine for us! This is mainly until Jupiter moves into Scorpio on the 10th of Oct 2017. I will talk more about this shift of energy in October 2017.
Jupiter in Libra will oppose Uranus in Aries and that suggests a cry for freedom and for acting on what you need and want to do. These planets are preparing you for your big shift that happens next year. You will need to go out in the world and show yourself. Jupiter and Uranus and Saturn are making everything they can to show you the way to do that. To use this energy at its full potential, try to:
Create, write, publish, invent something new: Libra is all about publishing, website, exposure in any kind of way and that is why it is extremely good to write a book and get it published, invent something and try to patent it and show it to the world, start a blog on any topic close to your heart and turn it into something nice and lasting! Remember that you need to work pretty hard to make this happen and you have another big ally in the sky and that is Saturn in Sagittarius all year long making a positive aspect with Jupiter in Libra. This means you will have support and have enough energy to profit in the year 2017.
Learn a new skill, go to school again, try an MBA, try a new Master Degree, teach: With this good energy for us in Aquarius coming from Libra, anything that we can learn and any kind of investment we are doing now in school is a very good deal! Learning something in a classroom, on the internet, at a very important school or just outside your work is favored by the way the starts are aligned. The energy is also good with recognition and obtaining a title after the school: doctor, engineer or an international certification. As you will see, this will help you a lot when Jupiter will enter Scorpio in October 2017 and that is the time where all the focus will be on your career and your path in the world.
Travel – plan any long distance travel: Jupiter in Libra favors long distance travel, discovery of new places, connection with new people and places and learning anything new on these trips. It is a very good time to plan and go for a trip to go to school, to start a new business venture, to apply and get accepted in an internship abroad. You got the picture! It is possible to get a job abroad and it will be beneficial to accept it as it will be a learning opportunity more than an advancement in your career.
